For the 2025/2026 academic year, the DAAD has launched a scholarship program. The German institution offers around fifty training courses in several areas of development, to be taken in German universities.

The German Academic Exchange Office (DAAD) offers scholarships to students from developing countries, including those in Africa. The scholarships offer the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate or master's degree at a state-recognized German university, for the academic year 2025/2026.

Applicants must be nationals of one of the eligible countries and have at least two years of professional experience. English skills are required. For some courses, an average level of knowledge of German is required.

Scholarships are valid for programs ranging from 12 to 42 months.
